The heir to the British throne, has met the organic farmers in the small village Oren in Izmir Kemalpasa on November 27, 2007. Prince Charles visited the organic agriculture farms of the first registered organic company of Turkey, Rapunzel Organik Ltd’s farmers and examined the organic farming in the field.
’It is assumed as the "Partnership to Rapunzel" by many people’, declared the General Manager of Rapunzel Organik, Mr Atila Ertem and added:"For the moment, we cannot talk about such a partnership. We will be together today at 14:00 with Prince Charles and our farmers and we will inform him about organic agriulture farming. |

May be this will be the all of our duty. We know that, the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan asked to Prince Charles to invest on organic farming in Turkey. If Prince takes into consideration that and offers us such an investment, of course will evaluate this. Determining Oren for such a visit is absolutely a good chance for us".
Prof Dr Ahmet Altindisli will the join the visit with a presentation and he said that "This visit is a great opportunity to support organic farming in Turkey and development of organic products, to inform the people about organic farming and to make them more interested in organic products." |
