Trustful organic products from Turkey

Until now Rapunzel is the only major processing company in Turkey, which works with 100% organic products. Founded in 1974 by Joseph Wilhelm, the parent company Rapunzel Germany started to import dried fruits and nuts from Turkey already in 1976. From 1986 on Rapunzel run a consulting office in Izmir. Since 1997 Rapunzel has its own processing facility in Ören / Kemalpasa, close to Izmir. Important decisions are always taken in close cooperation and with the support of the German headquarters.

From cultivation to packing: Certified organic

For many years Rapunzel has been cooperating directly with about 450 organic farmers in Turkey. On approx. 4000 ha of agricultural land more than 30 different products are cultivated according to the guidelines of ecological agriculture. In Ören at Rapunzel Organik Tarım, about 3000 tons of organic products per year are processed at its own processing facility. Distribution to wholesalers and 5000 organic shops in Germany and other European countries is part of this implementation.
